Four volumes. All first editions. Volumes 1-3 (1935, 1943, and 1943) are in maroon and black cloth, Volume 4 in black cloth. Volumes 1 and 3 are Very Good or better in Very Good dust jackets, but the jacket of Volume 1 is slightly small and may have been trimmed at the bottom edge. Volume 2 has a splash-stain at the spine visible at the bottom edge of the rear endpaper, and is thus Good/Good. Volume 4 is Fine in a Fine dust jacket. All bindings are tight, all contents are clean. Volume 1 bears a lengthy 1982 gift inscription from the President of the University.
