1894 copyright date, but with a reference to the author's second novel, and thus c.1900. A Good copy in pictorial cloth, darkened at the spine, and with light wear at the spine tip. Large owner's name scratched through at the inside of the front cover, and with a 1910 gift inscription at the endpaper. The binding is fairly tight and the text is clean.
